As myopia worsens globally, there is a desperate need for a new
adjustable,
accessible and easy to use solution for both
children and adults.
Using proprietary AI models and biologically-based
algorithms, we are
developing a solution to stop myopia
progression.
High myopia can lead to damage of the
retina and loss of visual function.
This chart shows the increased risks of various eye diseases with myopia vs. no myopia.
Eye Disease | -2.75D (Low) | -3 to -5.75D (Moderate) | -6.00D+ (High) |
---|---|---|---|
Macular Degeneration | 13.8x | 72.7x | 845x |
Retinal Detachment | 3.2x | 8.7x | 12.6x |

Myopia to become a leading cause of
permanent blindness worldwide.
In the U.S., myopia rates have soared, from 25% in 1971 to nearly 42% in 2017. Children are becoming nearsighted at increasingly younger ages.
In China, where they specifically track myopia onset, over 80% of teens and young adults are now nearsighted.
